195s would be stretched pretty good, 205s would be slightly stretched. You could problaly run eaither... but I would be woried about the 195s popping off.

Have you checked out http://clubroadster.net/forum/index.php ? They have a ton of info about stretching.

I was at a clubroadster'ish meet (kinod) and I saw 195's on an 8" rim, they looked ******* hilarious. The dude said he had tracked them and they were ok...

I'm not so into that, but here are some pics.

These pictures were taken by a clubroadster member, and I got them from clubroadster, I think you will find exactly what you are looking for there, hell you should just move out to Wittier.

You've gotta match the tire size and compound to the power and chassis.

Do you need a spacer? That depends on if you've got enough clearance to clear the lower control arm at full lock.

an 8" wheel with a spacer will probably need a roll or flares with a 205.. might fit with a 195. If you run no spacer you should be able to tuck the 205, which will be stretched. Alot of the "fitment" questions really are based on ride height.

Whaamx5 you are off on that bossman.

With low power that stretch is fine. Shitty tires will feel more responsive and it will be more affordable for him. Plus he doesnt need that much traction at that point and it will be aesthetically more pleasing to most of the drift crowd. I ran 195/50 on an 8" wheel and its not that bad of a stretch.

Now, Taz, use better grammar bro.

If you are turbo, you want some decent sized tire on there.

How much power are you running??, That will determine the tire size and camber you should be running..

Probably, Emilo say's 8's are better, but 6.5's are what I have. They are for sale or trade though.

run 225s front and 195s rear if you are into drifting - a lot of grip up front + not so much in the rear...
