Ok, but why did you ditch your whole turbo kit?

I'm around 1 mile from home and seeing as my tools have all been stolen I figure I'll make it home then tow it to a shop in the morning. It seems I was mistaken. A few moments later there was a "pop" sound and the altenator light came on. I thought the recently replaced altenator had messed up again and was overcharging the recently replaced battery. A few seconds later there was another "pop", this time steam poored out of the hood. S#$t. Two seconds later the temp gauge flies past H. F'it, I'm getting home. The lights started to dimm but the car continued to run. I limped the remaining mile home (with the engine off as much as possible) and stopped her in the garage.
Uhm... So he threw the alternator belt, which caused the water pump to stop turning, which caused the engine to begin overheating, decided to continue driving, and can't figure out what went wrong...

haha... yeah... it seems fine by the way. i think it only needs new belt. either way, new engine is $400 - my sound system is worth more then that

sold turbo kit to buy this car. will sell my red '96 (dont really like red) and slap a turbo on this one.

Good score, but why not fix it and flip it?

1.6l > 1.8l ????
