What not to say when in your miata
Figured I would give you guys something to laugh about.
This weekend I took the miata out for a cruise. It being almost 90* here in Texas saturday evening it was a perfect day to drop the top and cruise around town. I decided to pickup a buddy and we got on the topic of turbos. We rolled up to the square in town where it was a very crowded day for shoppers. As we were talking about turbos my buddy couldn't finish his sentence, and the reason being is because we were talking about shaft play. I feel it has been one of the most awkward situations I have ever been in. 2 dudes in a topless miata talking about shaft play just shouldn't ever be considered!
I felt this was a good little laugh, what memories do you guys have about awkward conversations while in your miata?

My girlfriend (no, really, what? Stop looking at me that way.) says that all automotive nomenclature had to be dreamt up by men.
All these shafts, heads, rear-ends, *****, rods, cranks, trannies, strokers, nuts, screws, suck, squeeze, bang, blow, it just goes on & on...
None of which should be discussed whilst in a Miata without uttering the following phrase: 'Wait, are we still talking about cars?'
I've driven Miatas. If that makes me ghey, well then, I embrace teh ghey...
