Intake Manifold Support
So I've been swapping parts over from my current motor to my new engine and came to the intake manifold brace. I know it's been said in the past that nobody uses these things, and I never had one on the old engine. There was however a small bracket that connected the manifold to the fuel rail bracket on top that I imagine would serve to kill any harmonics. The new motor has a high-flow fuel rail with no provisions for this little bracket. It also has a nice lightweight reciprocating assembly and an aluminum flywheel. I'm not sure if that means I'm going to get more or less engine vibration. Should I fabricate another bracket to connect the manifold to maybe a valve cover bolt, or am I worried about nothing?
