ok, the samco t-piece finally came today so, after a monumental struggle with the intake, BBR intercooler and radiator, i popped on the bailey DV26.

works fine at idle, no leaks or anything, but the only way I can get it to vent is by revving the car up to near on the red line in neutral. out on the road going thru the gears I can't hear a thing - well except for the turbo flutter which I thought the DV was supposed to compensate. does it need adjusted and if so how do I do it?

btw, I also have a manual boost controller fitted which has a tiny vent hole too.

If it is a twin piston valve either or both of the springs may be too strong. Also, if it has o-rings check that they are sealing, if the upper portion of the valve is leaking bad enough vacuum won't be able to lift the piston.

And if all of that fails try a larger vacuum source.

Took the valve apart and reassembled. secured all the hoses, including the vac, with proper clips, then went out and gave it the beans.
