Will a WB O2 show a dirty injector?
Just wondering about my injectors. I had some 1.8 inj laying around and don't really know if the are dirty and flowing 100%
I am now running the Greddy with these 1.8's.
Lets say that hypothetically one of them is partially clogged or whatever. Will the WB show an issue like this or a similar one?
Thanks

A WB only gives you a picture of the overall AFR in the motor. If you have one leaky injector your motor might show a little lean when you were tuning. You would have increased fuel to make up for it. So in effect you would have 3 rich cylinders and 1 lean one. Classic failure.
You would have to have a wb on each cylinder to really tell.
Could you give more information on what is occuring to make you think this might be happening?

Thanks Neogenesis,
I don't really think there is a problem, I am probably just being paranoid. But I am just a bit concerned as these 1.8 inj came from my old car that had about 260000kms on it. Now that I am boosting I really hope that they are all flowing at 100%
I am debating to soak my old 1.6 inj in carb cleaner or seafoam or something else for a couple days and then take the 1.8s out and do the same with them.
Any ideas on cleaning my own injectors?
Thanks again
