Default Taking orders for track extraction hoods

I am going to start taking orders for my hoods. Reagular hoods are available now and integrated hoods will be available around Dec 2 - Dec 5 hopefully. Flares are also now available, but just PM me on those.

Price: $225 (either model)
Weight: 3-4 lbs more than stock, but could be closer to stock.
Construction: Fiberglass
Remember, these hoods are not perfect. There are little spots where the finish isn't 100% smooth and a two very small dings in the hood I did not see prior to making the mold. Very easy fix by some glazing putty or even filler primer. They must also be held down by hood pins as there are no oem hood catches on them.

To get on the order list a deposit of $50 is required. I should be able to make 3-4 hoods a week, so the list should move pretty fast. If you want to organize a group shipment to an area, please start a thread on that and I will help you guys out as much as possible.

All questions for the hood should be address to this thread: Let's come up with a new hood design

I'm in for a regular whenever p51 is ready. Could you post pics of the imperfections?

He's made the first few.

I've got one in my garage right now, unfortunately it's not mine...****'s going to Treystler.

It's a very nice piece...well formed and comparable to OEM hood weight.

Heavier than FM we held it up next to...but also doesn't flex like the FM piece. He cast the glass off a modified OEM hood that had most of the bracing intact, making it pretty damn rigid.

I could test fit and take pics, but I think that'd be on par with giving sloppy seconds to hustler.

Sorry for the delay Andrew. I am tweaking the mold for the integrated lid version. The standard one is done. I will be working to finish the mold this weekend and next week.

I may be interested. Since I am doing a motor swap I need to make sure the OEM hood clears before I know for sure. Shouldnt be a problem though. Simpment will be to North TX if there is anyone else in the DFW area, N. Texas or S. OK who wants to split shipping cost. I have a warehouse/shop with shipping dock and forklift so that helps with cost as well.
