I picked up a mobile phone stick on wide angle lens for .69 delivered last week and will try it out on the keychain cam when it arrives. That IMO is one of the best things you can do for an in-car vid cam.

How is the wide angle lens working out?

I got mine and it works as advertised, but I lost my wideangle lens. :(
fwiw- I just came across the same cam for $9 delivered with coupon MLC400808082430A. It actually states in the fine print that this is the version 3 sunplus cam.
4gb Sandisk micro card with SD adapter $10 free ship.

If you get the right size vband clamp you could fab something easily to mount to the roll bar. This is my goal between now and Barber in October for my camera.
I ordered a second one because the first one is so good. So far I have recorded an hour on one battery charge. I stopped the video, the battery didn't die. I don't know what the record time is on a single charge.
I took a video with it setting on the dash, then another hooked onto the visor. I was surprised at how good the video was even though it wasn't a solid mount. I'm expecting better results when mounted solid to the roll bar since the camera will move with the car. I'll update the thread when I get my mount sorted.
