These look very cool. I will get one to attach to my dog, so I can see wtf he does all day.

That member would be me.

A few friends of mine (2 in PA, and one in NJ) ordered via that link on 8/8, and have already received them.

I picked up a mobile phone stick on wide angle lens for .69 delivered last week and will try it out on the keychain cam when it arrives. That IMO is one of the best things you can do for an in-car vid cam.

Where did you get it for 69 cents?

Just for any cheapskates, the Ver. 3 with 4GB card was listed at $29.99 with free shipping. I offered $26.00, he countered at $27.00 and I accepted. Pretty good deal.

I received my camera and it works very well. Do any of the models have a sound recorder. I was hoping to record audio as well.

How is the wide angle lens working out?

I ordered two, but only received one. He hasn't answered my emails yet.

Mine works well and records sound with the video.

I got mine and it works as advertised, but I lost my wideangle lens. :(

fwiw- I just came across the same cam for $9 delivered with coupon MLC400808082430A. It actually states in the fine print that this is the version 3 sunplus cam.

4gb Sandisk micro card with SD adapter $10 free ship.

Anyone find an easy, non ghetto looking way to mount this to a rollbar?

If you get the right size vband clamp you could fab something easily to mount to the roll bar. This is my goal between now and Barber in October for my camera.

I ordered a second one because the first one is so good. So far I have recorded an hour on one battery charge. I stopped the video, the battery didn't die. I don't know what the record time is on a single charge.

I took a video with it setting on the dash, then another hooked onto the visor. I was surprised at how good the video was even though it wasn't a solid mount. I'm expecting better results when mounted solid to the roll bar since the camera will move with the car. I'll update the thread when I get my mount sorted.
