One question: does the vendor have the pistons in stock? Specifically P4-MA790-N10.

the p4-ma84-n4 (8.6:1) will be replaced by the p4-ma84-cr9 (9:1)

Wow, i am so glad you can quote a dictionary, the question was why there are no more of the preferred compression/bore for most turbo applications, is this because they stopped making them or what, because while 9.0 is "very similar" it is not the same.

...I should probably learn about this shiat so I can make an educated purchase rather than just join in and buy since they're cheap.

Thanks for doing the legwork for the deal, whether or not I get to join in.

I'd like the K553M84 Wiseco's. Also, what's this "different valve angles on 1999+"? Interested as these are going into a '99.

i called wiseco on this
"the 94-97 head has different valve angles than the 99+, so pistons for the 99+ head would need to be custom ordered for about 140$ a piece/560$ a set"

i will call supertech to make sure this is not the same for there pistons

I have a set of the 83.5mm 8.6:1 pistons with rings that I'd be willing to trade someone if they order me what I want in exchange. I'd probably go for the 9:1 84mm...

Is this different-parts-for-99+-heads deal also true for low compression pistons?
