Default Prosport gauge group buy?

Ok, here is the email I got. Just follow their instructions to get the discount!

we will offer you guys 10% off your entire order. We can do this two ways. 1) each person calls in 727-572-9011 and places their order and mentions the gb club discount. 2) the members can do their own math, go to the website-add the items to your cart to get the total with shipping. Then take 10% off the total and send us the money via paypal and list the items in the notes with the payment.
Actually I do have an easier third solution. any day now we will have our new shopping cart on line and I can give you a code to use that will calculate the discount for you.

Id like to get a couple nice, inexpensive gauges, and im willing a few of you guys want to too. Im emailing them, and if I could get a discount, who would be willing to get some?

The discount will be for ANYTHING they sell. They will email me back with the specifics soon!

I'd be interested in the following

Performance Green/White 52mm
EGT
Oil Temp
Electronic Boost

Digital Series 52mm
Air/Fuel

Then I'll sell all my autometer gauges.

I kept missing out on the group buys for the mazdaspeed forum..

Interested in White/Amber Performance:

Electronic Boost
Electronic Oil Pressure
Electronic Water Temp

Check to see if we can get a discount on the installation accys too, specifically the radiator hose adapter and oil sandwich plate.

Btw, I'll mention that you can not remove the factory water temp sending unit for the gauge cluster and install the prosport sending unit. Granted it looks identical, it won't fit.. I wasted 4 hours of my time and a heatercore trying. The damn thing would start on 2 cylinder heads I have OFF the car, but not ON the car. Oops.

Didn't measure it, but the metric converter fittings might get the sending unit installed in the water galley plug on the drivers side of the block.. I can tell you its not NPT threading, thats all I can say.

Yeah as of most others, however I'm talking specifically about the water galley port on the drivers side of the block by the oil supply... its not NPT.

Last time someone started a groupbuy almost all interest was tossed when someone said something about poor visibility. Maybe that is only with the smoked lenses though. Has anyone actually seen these gauges and dealt with the glare issues? I need boost and oil temp but i won't sacrifice a few dollars to cheap out on gauges that can't be seen during the day with the top up or down.

http://z1auto.com/submodel.asp?model...cat=enginemgmt for STRI. They are great quality and don't have the smoked lens like the ProSport ones. What do you guys think? And yes, I've talked about the group buy with Z1 and we need to send them a list of what we need and they will work with the prices. Sorry for posting this in a different group buy thread. If it can't be here, just delete it or move.

Id be in for the

Green/White - Electric/Mechanical boost gauge & Oil Temp
Digital - AFR Gauge
+ mounting cups
+ oil sandwich plate

I too am concerned about the smoked lenses, unless the gauge needs constant power for it to be visible and if so how visible in daylight.

I have a set of ProSport gauges in my miata and can see them perfectly fine even wearing my sunglasses on a topdown day which is more than I can say for the radio. I just Want another set for my 6 so I'm in on the group buy.

I looked at the STRI gauges from the other thread, nobody ever posted prices so I google searched it to find 170+$ gauges.

In if they ever produce a real wideband O2 gauge (I think their current one only does NB), which I've heard they are working on. I'd also get a digital boost gauge then as well to match.

I'm going to use it with my LC-1, slightly less resolution since it isn't 0-5V, but good enough for what I'm wanting it for.
