FM charges for maps beacause Jeremy doesn't want to give his work away for free. if you buy the hydra or a harness from them, they will include one free map.

it's not hard to build a map though.

Sent the PM's out thx guys. I bought this set up 3rd party I understand people want to be paid but I have bought other FM parts from them I believe if this is there product they should support it. Its a map I will continue to buy their products so long as they provide good ones at a reasonable price to competition and so-forth. Skipped their Fuel rail in place of the new Corky Bell design will post pictures when we get it on. Thanks to all who have posted.

I sent him a base map that I used for my 01. Since his car is a 99, what changes would need to be done to it to make it work for him? Or better yet, anyone have a 99 specific base map that he can use?

So Running think its a 2560 or 2860 garret turbo, 550cc's Injectors, PWR radiator, Begi New Fuel system. NO FPR, NO Upgraded Fuel Pump is this recomended? Precision Intercooler, HKS SSQV III BOV. Anything else I should say?

it's more the inputs and outputs specific to the pinout of the harness that you should worry about, not the turbo and injectors.

find someone with a 99-00 car and get a map from them. then you can use the injector change trim function (tools menu) to scale your injectors.

the rest is all fine tuning as far as the map is concerned.

Yeah I will need a VICS instead of a VTCS so anyone with a 99-00 have a basic map that I can start from would be greatly appreciated. Thx

I have a 2001 FMII Miata with the Hydra 2.5. I am having a drivability issue around 2500 RPMs. The throttle is very uneven at that range with the idle jumping up and down a bit. The car was apparently dyno tuned before I bought it; however, it has had this issue since I bought it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you,

Greg

Hmm This not your thread. Search first and when you go through all your SELF-seach resources post your own thread with the issue. Im not trying to be an *******, but it is what it is, you might want to go through the Hydra subsection of Engine Management.
