I have a 2000 miata.. I ended up buying a complete turbo kit off of somebody and it came with a hydra 2.5. it was on an 02 miata.

Im still new to all of this and still doing tons of research so bare with me, but from what I understand the 99-00 harness is different from the 01-02 harness? FM wants like $320 for the harness. Is there a more simple solution to this? Can I modify the 02 harness to work on my 2000? Is there a cheaper place to maybe find a preowned one? Or do I just gotta bite the bullet and spend the 300$ on the harness?

The FM harness is the only option. The ECU plugs are completely different between a 99-00 and a 01-05 so you can not make it work by moving wires into different positions.
