Some of you guys need to lighten up a bit.

Matt Thorne's cousin David is much more interesting, some of his better work:
* Matthew's Party: Matthew's non theme based fancy dress party
* You're a ***: "I have read your website and it is obviously that your a foggot."
* Pets in the Building: The ducks in the bathroom are not mine.
* Ten formal complaints in 6 months: Ten Formal Complaints in Six Months
* Justin's floodlight: "I cant help it if some of the light goes across the road. Put something up in your window."
* Blockbuster return overdue: Blockbuster Employee of the Month.

I apprently 'reipped off' MS before there was even licensing, and once I was informed I offered to pay licensing, then I decided to try my own way when MS said no, and I stopped selling it, and started work on the NODIZ I had the same agro from megajolt fans about that, however, megajolt needs EDIS, NODIZ has the drivers built in, so completely different in terms of complexity (though some didnt understand that comupting trigger patterns and telling an EDIS when to fire are leagues apart) etc, but still, the same old crap from the same old people...

I have had enough of defending myself to a competitor - you have a nice little piece of historical leverage you can use over and over again, even if the timelines and processes are innacurate - its so long ago I don't even have the emails from it anymore.

I don't want to waste anymore time on this - both myself and Alex wish you all well, and we will continue to work on our ECU - now all of the UK tuners are using it, and rightly saying how much easier it is to tune than MS, how much more repeatable, reliable etc it is, that is worth more of a win for me, the product, and the company, than any comment on a forum every will be...

Best wishes,
Matt
As your memory seems selectively weak on the subject, let's look at your counterfeit V3.0 PCB, aka the real reason why your "V4.0" was denied license.

The top photo is of a B&G MegaSquirt V3.0 PCB, as sold by DIYAutoTune. The bottom photo is an M-Tech counterfeit version of the 3.0 PCB, built without permission or license to do so, in violation of IP and copyright. How many people did you burn on the M-Tech ripoff of the V3.0? A blatant plagiarism, no different than your plagiarism of my manual, completely devoid of character and integrity. You are one of the reasons why I can no longer release schematics and other "nerd data" to my customers.

You didn't seek license. You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar, then begged to not be shut down. You stole from us 10 years ago and you steal from us now.

I thought imitation was the sincerest form of flattery?

Matt Thorne says it was a fresh start design. Just ask him.

Or maybe he only copied part of it.

Or maybe he only copied some of it, but he meant to go back and change those bits later.

Or maybe his design works m0ar better than all other designs*
*No other designs were tested in the making of the claim.

I wonder what Keith thinks of these fine folks that he's going to be doing business with for a good long while.

I'd certainly be ecstatic if I were him right now. Looks like they're working with a totally stand up organization that would fail out of high school after getting caught red handed by a computer program for plagiarizing their book report.

I'm not in the market for an ECU right now, but if I was....Matt Thorne's deflections here would skeeve me out. Why not just admit fault and move on with your life instead of back pedaling, getting caught up in lies, and then creating a new false narrative?

Because dishonest people don't admit fault and move on?

I'll admit to being curious about the 221 boxes. After seeing how the two founders carry themselves, I'll never touch one of their products.
