Idle speed control motor held fully open at key one engine off
I noticed a whine at key on engine off after installing the Hydra. I found it was the IAC/ISC motor and looked at the Hydra settings. The solenoid was being controlled fully on just pulling current for no good reason. I didn't see any good way in the settings to make sure this isn't running the solenoid before startup and just burning up batteries.
Has anyone run into this or resolved this issue?

Jeremy seems to know about it and not have a fix but hinted that the 2.7 version has redone the ISC controls such that this may be resolved.

Dunno about cost, apparently it will depend on which version of 2.7 you want. They will have something like 5 variations of 2.7, some of which are lower cost and lower feature and others that are higher cost and higher feature set. I saw a lot of posts from sellers around this time last year saying the 2.7 was weeks away so I hope they delayed it by over a year now to have everything more dialed in that 2.6. Whenever I am using 2.6, I feel like I am being transported back to the first windows interfaces of Motec / Autronic / Electromotive where everyone was just trying to figure out the functionality and workflow and all software was expected to be buggy.

Yeah, except it is a cover for poor design. Plus, when you have 5 afr sensors (not sure if you are doing per port then post cat or just per port then collector and if they are all heated or wbo2) and the various wiring changes it is a little simpler to tee into your heavily modified loom. I'd prefer Hydra just not program in stupidity which is what holding the isc fully open amounts to as it can't recognize the condition in which it should not be held wide open.
