1990 Mazda Miata drag race car only!!!This vehicle comes with the bill of sale and a certificate title of destruction.This vehicle was rebuilt as a race car with the suspension set-up for drag racing. It is powered by a 2.6G54B Mitsubishi Starion engine. 10 point chromemolly role cage. It is bored to a 20over with brand new Wisco pistons, hardened factory Mitsubishi stock rods, balance crank,It has a brand new cylinder head with all new components. The drivetrain is a stock Mitsubishi Starion transmission with an extreme ACT pressure plate and a 6pug ACT clutch.Front suspension is an adjustable coil overs system. In the rear suspension it is a 4 link rebuilt 8.8 Ford Mustang rear end with 373 Richmond spool gears which is also an adjustable suspension. It's half chasis with 14" tubs with 26/10/15 Mickey Thompson's and the front 22.5/4.5/15 Mickey Thompson's, the wheels are Pro stars all around (front and back). Has a G force racing harness, removable steeringg wheel (quick release). Underneath the Hood= 850 cc injectors, weldon fuel regulator, paxton racing fuel pump, wilson manifolds racing 92mm throttle body, electric motor for water pump, custom built four injector intake manifold and fuel rail, custom built header T4 manifold, turbonetics T76 cold side/Precision power AR68 hotside. 38mm SX power wastegate front mount intercooler with 3" inlet pipes. XRP fittings and steel braided fuel lines from the fuel cell to fuel rail and fuel regulator.
Electronics= The system is controled by an LT8 microtech stand alone computer good up to 40lbs, It has an MSD ignition system with a 2 step module selector, MSD 3stage retard control for launching, It has auto meter phantom gauges( blower boost) , fuel pressure, tach, water tempature, oil pressure. The motor on this vehicle has been recently completely rebuilt. On the dyno machine the results were 460horses to the wheels at 28lbs of boost. This car has been ran 6 passes since rebuilt. The best time this car has ran is been 10.02 on the 1/4 mile with 112 octane racing fuel at 132mph being driven by my mechanic and driven by me the fastest time I've been able to get is 10.80 without nitrous which this car does not have.Serious callers only. $8500 is a fair price, but it always makes me nervous when they are willing to accept a trade of equal value. That tells me he isn't selling it because he needs the money, so it likely has problems.

I like the car, but would much rather use a Mazda engine. I'd love to have it an be out Drag Racing a Mazda again!

holy **** I need that. I bet the wilson manifold alone was $1000. I'd ******* love to roll that bitch off a trailer and beat up on big, squeeze cars.

A pity they started with a turd motor for a swap. They did polish that turd quite well but still.

They should have done a 4G63 if they were going to throw a Mitsu motor in it. It's not like there aren't 4G63 swaps into Starquests anyway.

I have a friend who used to have a 450whp Starion...weak point was the tranny, his ate 3rd gear and he sold it because he couldn't afford to install a beefier tranny.

460rwhp is pretty weaksauce for all that work. Should have spent the $$ on a BP and had more power. Nice swap anyway.

pretty badass, but for a strictly drag car with built everything, 460 is weaksause.
worked over 4g63 with a large turbo would have easily put down at least double
