Default 21 Foot Rule lulul

First you must watch the real one...

Second you must watch...

.... Then you must watch....

There is another video about him talking after the injury... where he mentions he lives with his mom. I feel like this is hyper if he got a hold of knives.

I think two rounds from a .45, center mass, would win no matter how much dancing he does.

Whether or not the 21 foot rule is valid (it's probably going to vary a lot person to person) the dude making the videos clearly has no idea wtf he is doing, which makes it hilarious but dangerous.. luckily Darwinism seems to be working out just fine for him.

Is this ************ serious? Holy ****. He runs like a girl and swings the blade like he is swinging a stick at a bug that he is afraid of.

Well actually the rule is pretty much true. I've trained in stuff like this and you can too- it's not that hard. Just see how well you can aim when someone is running at you from 20 feet away. My marine buddy talks about layered defenses and a gun should not be your last resort. blha blah

Seriously? its hard to shoot someone point blank running directly at you?
I'm no pro with guns but that sounds extremely easy. Especially if the person running at you is as slow and retarded as the guy in the vids

This is why I strap tons of explosives to myself when protecting against knife attack. Charge me and boom!!!

Win win.

It's what is termed "shooting under stress". The point is that unless you ******* explode their brain, the attacker can still reach you and potentially stab you. Lots. If you shoot them in the chest and it takes a minute for them to bleed out and they are on top of you, stabbing you, how many stabs do you think they can get in before they die? In a lot of stab wound murders, you will see extremely high stab counts- 30+. Try punching your couch or something repeatedly really quickly and you will get it.

I get that part. But if I have a fully loaded gun and the guy isn't stopping I won't be shooting just the one time. I'll be emptying the clip at the **** Or if I have an automatic or semi auto weapon he'll basically be cut in half by the time he reaches me.
I get what you mean though.

You're talking about being ready with an automatic weapon in your hands.

The rule is talking about drawing from some sort of concealed or at least holstered position (while clearing any clothing), obtaining a shooting grip, aiming, and firing. The guy in the video is a goober, but still, watch him "run" and think in your head about going through those steps. Doesn't leave you much time.

I'm reluctant to believe this guy is for real after those neighbor videos.

It takes the average human something like 1.5 seconds to cover 21'.

How many shots do you think you can get off in that time (keeping in mind that you will most likely have to draw your weapon).

Standing your ground is only going to end up with you being cut. Move dynamically off the line of attack while engaging.

I don't think anyone would need much time when the wound channel created from the hydraulic shock is big enough to stick your arm through.

Hollowpoints FTW!

Perhaps I exaggerated slightly but imagine this in a human torso. :

I think the trauma would slow down an attacker if not stop them. At least change their mind about the current course of action.
