Default Stupid thread V. Tires for 07 Honda Fit.

Having trouble finding cheap tires in 195/55/15. Why is that? She doesnt care about performance at all. Just need something thats not going to absolutely suck in the wet. She says she needs "something thats round". Looking for under $60.

try the 205/50/15 class. We ran that size on our Fit at One Lap of America 2 years ago and had the same problem. Dunlop Direzza DZ101 in 205/50/15 is 66 each from tirerack.

The stock tire size is a PITA to find. I got a flat and NO ONE had it in stock. Had to order one, well I got two in case I got another flat. When all of these tires go I'm probably going to 205/50/15 all around.

TireRack turned up 35 results in that size, ranging from $72 for Yoko S.drives. Going to 205/50/15 gets you down to $66 for a set of DZ101s. Both are UHP summer tires- all seasons are a tad more.

Seems reasonable to me.

I looked on tirerack. We are in the process of buying a house and GF wants to go as cheap as possible.

wal mart or your local "quick-e-tires" or whatever the hindu's call themselves these days.
200 out the door gets you some sunny or kumho or something like that
