I've always wanted to walk around in third person.
I've even got a way of doing it: You know those theater glasses that emulate a big screen right in front of you? They're like goggles made of a screen that you put over your eyes to block everything else out.

Mount a camera about 5' above you and 5' behind you, much like in that video, and feed the camera directly to the goggle things.
BAM, real-world third person.
