Wrong. They call it MAIN BEARING support plate because your toothpick sized neck just doesn't have the stamina to keep bobbing up and down for a long enough period of time. Also, this is a JDM motor ******, so remember that it was born on the other side of the planet. They drive on the right side of the road over there in the southern hemisphere so you have your **** all mixed up. If this were a Ford, Toyota, or other US make car you would be correct. But this is a longitudinally mounted JDM block so you're straight up wrong. The oil must go to the head. How do you think it gets there? You pour your oil in the valve cover--- where do you think it goes? It stays right there and hence the need to control the camshat frothing action. You STFU and stay right there on my kiwi.
So...oil stays in the valve cover, never leaves the head through the drain holes, enters the crankcase where it's picked up by the oil pump pickup and is pumped to the main crank bearings and then on to the upper end?
Do you have any clue how an engine is designed? You cannot possibly be this ******* stupid. You do realize that gravity works the same in Japan as it does here and engines there are not engineered upside down compared to ours, right. This is, by far one of the dumbest ******* things I have ever heard.
Oh, another thing the reason your EGTs go up with a richer fuel mix is due to the latent heat of vaporization effect. Richer=wetter. A wetter fuel mix carries the heat out of the cylinder better than a dry one.
You should stop posting till you know what the **** you are talking about. I think you should stick with something you can handle like a Sawsall... wait, that's no good either. Try a crossword puzzle you douchebag. Better yet, keep posting that way everybody will know how big of a dumbass you are and get a free laugh.

This is really simple and you can try it at home. Put egg whites in a bowl and stir it up really hard with a whisk...it will foam up. If you use a Kitchen-Aid mixer to experiment, but a dozen eggs in and the whipped liquid will overflow and cause a huge mess. What do you think the cam loaves are doing when you overfill the head with oil? This happens with every engine but when you overfill enough the whipped peaks become to tall and light to lubricate and if the engine doesn't fail from lubricity, then the engine will ingest the whipped oil through the PCV and hydro-lock.

Its the part that looks like bread which pushes the valve plates down. When the loaf hits the plate and the valve opens, the burning gases from your rich mixture bake the loaves to operating temperature. This is why you have to pre-heat the head prior to hitting the track because if you don't pre-heat the loaves will burn on the outside and never warm on the inside. This also helps to glaze the loaf with the whipped oil in the head to better lubricate...hence why you cannot overfill.
