BROSZ:
the phablets are coming.
I am on Verizon.
I am eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Note II
and the HTC Droid DNA DLX Deluxe (J Butterfly or whatever it is this week).
I could preorder the GNII now and probably be happy since it has the cool multitasking and removable SDmicro and battery but should I wait for final details on the specs of the DNA? Rumor has it that the battery is small and there is no SD Card slot but the resolution is immense (1080p 440ppi density) and it's slightly faster and I am probably slightly in favor of Sense over TouchWiz (I have an OG Droid Incredible now).
Also the GN2 probably will have more customers and awesome accessories so I'm leaning that way.
It's nov 6. vote early and often on my next phone.

I always wear jeans. I have created a foam cutout that shows the increase in size from my current phone to the GN2. I am tempted to make a more solid version and temporarily attach it to my phone to see if it increases the bulge in my pants beyond what the ladies enjoy seeing.
BEHOLD*:
* I am not interested in the Samsung Behold.

I have no problem stuff my GS3 which is just a touch smaller (otterbox case), I could definitely go larger and wish I could. I don't always wear jeans either, zero regret from the phoen size.
The Note 2 is the way to go if you want removable storage which you do, and although unscientifically, I think Samsung hardware is more reliable. Since you're on Verizon and you will pay out the *** for data usage, you want that removable storage if you use the phone to store music.
I also strongly feel the TouchAIDS is significantly more awful than Sense, so awful that it must be removed immediately and replaced with a "pure JB" ROM; I love CM10 which will make it's way to the Note2.

the screen is probably gorgeous
but compared to a 440 pixel per inch OLED?
i do also believe the SGN2 will be the better phone and have more overall quality in terms of photos and screen colors.

Tardy to the party, I just ordered the GN2 through walmart for AT&T. ($50 less) Coming from a 4.3 inch screen. The specs sold me on it, I stopped at t-mo to check out the phone, its not too bad in the pocket. My HTC Inspire weighs as much as a brick, and the thinness of the GN2 makes it feel good in my pocket.

I switched to a Galaxy S3 in October, and I really like it. I haven't replaced the rom yet; Sprint's Jellybean update came through last week and the UI response time on the phone is noticeably faster. I put a 64GB sd card in it but haven't needed most of it yet.
The bigger screen is a vast improvement over my iPhone 3GS, and my wife's 4S. I have a rubber case with an extended battery in it, and even with that have no issues with it fitting in my pocket.
Warning: water resistance of this phone is non-existent; it will quickly find its way through the seam around the edge, as I discovered when I used it while it was raining. My rubber cover probably helped the water go in through the seam. I took the battery and sd card out and left it under a desk lamp overnight to make sure it was completely dried out and have had no issues with the phone.
Hustler - you are running CM10 on yours? Any issues?

Yes, CM10 is relatively flawless. I've been running it for 2+ months and I've had one lock-up where the voice and 3g would not work but a "restore" fixed it. Make sure and do a back-up occassionally.
I bet the JB/TouchAIDS launcher is awful.

I got the Note 2 today. Its amazing. So silky smooth. I love that I can delete home screens. Ive just had one with no icons for a few months now, so its nice to go back to it.
I dont have particularly large hands, and its not awkward to hold, its so light for its size, my thumb is a bit shorts to do everything single handed, but I expected that.

You need to put a bit of a lid on your TouchWiz hate my friend. Or you need to apply for the job of "Guy in Charge of Phone ****" at Samsung so people will listen to you.
On a related note, the Droid DNA is still getting pretty solid reviews FROM THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN USING IT. Still annoyed by small storage and battery sizes. EFFERS.
I need to go to a T-Mo store and try the G Note 2's size on for size.
