Thanks for your support.

BTW - Free speech doesn't apply to MT.net, and you know this. Go on telling the MT military crew they're dumb pawns and that our friends die to make you rich. Go tell our young members to off themselves.

Frame rails just above the front cross member. Someone was using their teeth to cut 'em.

All you military hooah dipshits are just dumb pawns
. I'll have you know that I've made thousands of dollars off "the troop's" sweat and blood while selling **** that will never be used to your bloated fatass granddaddy DOD. The milk sack of government waste is quite bountiful and when your comrades die at the hands of some confused stone age jawa who wipes their *** with their hand, other people are getting rich.

That said, what I really think is that it doesn't matter what you do in life as long as you own your actions and the consequences of your actions. Be happy with your choices in each moment because that's all you've got. Do that and you'll have my respect. Regardless of if you are military or gay or a fucked up squirtle.
Without going into great detail, I will assume you understand this statement will blackball you from this forum, correct?

You might feel this way, but without them serving, you would not be here speaking the language you do, being able to call them what you are, and acting the way you portray you do on this forum.

Because I am not in the military, I am not going to jump down your throat about this comment, but I do hope a few of them put you back in your place.

And what the **** does "your support" mean anyways? Cheerleading? Yellow ribbons? Nobody gives a **** about anyone but themselves and that includes the troops and also the individuals that profit off them.

That's what I just did. I don't see how the military has anything to do with our young member's aimlessness. And that poor impressionable vulnerable delicate praiseworthy soul doesn't need all the aimless enlisted men gangbanging him to justify their own questionable choices. There's an infinite number of other things to do in life. And as for war profiteering, come on man, you can't be serious. I'm just stating the truth.

Heheh so uh by speaking that way aren't I validating their actions? That sounds like a positive to me.

Your lack of respect and love for your fellow man is your own and not mine. Do not generalize your degenerative egotism on me or my brethren.

You may not care for anyone's interests but your own, but in that, you are an army of one.

You should learn to love yourself and defeat your self-loathing. It will allow you to more readily love others.

I dunno...he's backing it up with a part-out feeler.

So either he's making fun of me...or he really is going to go do something different. I don't flatter myself that much...so sounds like the guy just read some of the feedback and is going to step out there and find something challenging.

So it's absolutely one-sided for you, then? The military supports you and not the other way around, ever? Cold.

And what the **** does "your support" mean anyways? Cheerleading? Yellow ribbons? Nobody gives a **** about anyone but themselves and that includes the troops and also the individuals that profit off them.

It means exactly that. You should see the austere conditions many troops endure without much more than a peep of complaint, all while knowing that ******** like you accuse them of being mindless pawns for their government and the lingering knowledge that your friends at the Westboro Baptist Church (See? I can make wild, unjustified accusations too!) just may use their funeral for their own agenda should they die. Freedom of speech indeed.

Nobody gives a **** about anyone but themselves? Good thing you never enlisted... If you went overseas with that attitude you might find yourself in an "accident".

...and as for the war profiteering comment, of course people profit from the war, and thanks for outing yourself as one of them.

One of many millions. If you're enlisted and expect to get a job in the private sector afterwards, you'll probably be doing the exact same thing. shrug

Faeflora is entitled to his opinion. Whether or not he understands what affords him the right to express that opinion isn't worth getting fired up over. Some people "get it" and some don't. Regardless, he can say what he wants without repercussion, as it should be. But since this is just a huge troll thread now, I don't think anyone would object to it being deleted or locked.

Just take it one day at a time and you'll eventually find some purpose in life. I performed absolutely horrible in high school, since I didn't take it seriously because the teachers didn't relate the material to real life. Considering most of them went right from high school, to college, to teaching this isn't really a shocker.

After high school, I joined the Army and served three years before being discharged as a 40% disabled veteran. I used the VA vocational rehabilitation program for disabled veterans to obtain a BS of Business Administration and actually managed to graduate with a 3.9 GPA because I was more mature, interested, and most business professors can actually relate the concepts to real life, since they worked or continue to work in private industry.

After completing college, I got a job that I absolutely hate but it pays nearly six figures a year. I also managed to complete my MBA this year at age 29 with a 3.5 GPA while working full-time. I may have been able to do more with my life if I had actually applied myself in high school, but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at right now.

Moral of the story: Life is a mixed bag and you just have to push forward. You may be indifferent to everything now, but tomorrow you may wake up with an epiphany that defines your life.

Good job! I'm sure you already know this but many government contracts favor small businesses owned by service-disabled veterans. I don't know if you work in the private or public sector but it may be something to keep in mind for the future.
