Anyone else dislike all the audio "enhancements" on aftermarket decks?

I'm with you guys, equalisers etc are pants, don't even use them on my MAC.
Recently fitted Alpine CDE-112Ri with SPG-17CS speakers in the doors, WOW !!!
Blew the factory uprated headrest speakers and could only get 3.5" SXE-0825S that would fit. Will see how they go at the weekend.

Imprint sound really good, you could have 2 settings, roof up and roof down

Its my opinion that you can thank pioneer for introduction of that garbage so heavily into decks.

I bought a top tier Kenwood which had options to turn off all the fruity flashing lights, flashy displays, amplifier, and all audio processing. The awesome part is it was open box at NFM for $200 under retail.

No way man, component bongos are where the good sound is at. Coax bongos just do not sound as good.
