Default Ultimate "What Car to Buy" Thread

I thoroughly enjoy these what car to buy threads. Im assuming you other gays do to, yall always cry, "Oh another one these" while simultaneously trying to convince the OP to buy your recommendation and then ultimately getting butt hurt when they make the "wrong decision."

So why dont we make an thread where you pick a car for whatever category and then give its virtues.

Mention its pros and cons and under what circumstances it would be a good choice, maybe a price range and a picture is a required.

Bonus points for obscure stuff.

Miata, duh.

Cars I want in the future as "achievable dream" cars to restore and drive:

CRX/Civic si from 1990ish
MR2
Impreza 2.5RS
Another miata

Future cars I have my eye on:

Nissan Juke
NC miata
Nissan Versa as a winter car
The Twins (if the styling doesn't become dated)
First gen Honda Insight is pretty cool.

If you don't have at least 1 miata in the stable, you're doing it wrong. R-package as a daily...

Cars I want as "I'm gonna restore this and drive it to work while looking awesome":
1965 or 66 mustang fastback
Pre 1970 Volvo P1800
Original Austin Mini

Cars I want right now as "a modern day realistic driver that I can easily soup up":
Volvo C30
Early 2000's BMW 325CI

That's all I can think of for this second...
