Anyone know how to post a picture on a wikipedia page?
I am trying to put a picture on wikipedia. I click on the "edit page" button and all I see is a place to put code. Yes, I could link to a picture that is somewhere else but I want to actually put the picture on their server. I can click on some help thing and it shows the code to imbed a picture. It is something like:
image:here_is_my_picture.jpg
That's fine and dandy but it does not say anything about how to get the picture there. Anyone know how to do this?

Are you saying that I upload to the common area and all pictures on all wiki pages come from there (unless a full url exists)? If so, thanks! (I'll try it)
FWIW, I was heading in that direction but it didn't make sence to me that the 14.8 billion images on wikipedia all had different names.
