Amen. There are way too many people that choose to be lazy and not better themselves. Think the world did them wrong and the govt. should pay their bills.

You've been sending your hard earned pennies to help deadbeat ***** for a long time. You'll definitely be sending more of them after Obama has to raise taxes to make up for all the money he is spending...

Things are far from as simple as you've worded it/phrased it/think it. What bill has you upset? The stimulus? The mortgage bill?

Welfare? Socialist Security? Medicare? Medicaid? Food stamps? Section 8 Housing? Extending Unemployment Benefits? SCHIP? What Else?

EDIT: Anybody who says "kewl" deserves nothing from me.

I'm upset with the country. It seems like things are just ridiculous now. Some of the reading I've done about what the stimulus is toward is absurd.

I believe that if someone needs unemployment for some time until they can find a job, thats ok. But people that live off the **** is a different story.

I do feel for those that are having hard times now, I really do. One of my friends is barely able to pay his rent between him and his girlfriend. I wish I had the money that I was able to help him out and take that stress off his back without breaking the bank myself.

But in reality he put himself in his own **** of a mess. By having a horrible job record, bad work ethics, overall bad attitude, etc. I feel this is what keeps him jobless and upset at the world. Then I on the other hand, work full-time year round, pay my taxes, and pay my bills. Now I might have to basically give my friend $100 a month without choice? Because he cant do it for himself?

My dad retired at age 61 and turned 62 two months before I graduated high school. The law states that I was eligible for social security for those two months, $1000/month. That $2000 turbo'd my Miata.

I'm going to tell you a story. This is all very personal, and even though it's none of anyone's business on the internet, I need to make a point.

My sister was married to a man up in Dallas for just over 10 years. They had three kids together, a little girl and twin boys shortly after. When the children were 5 years old, and 4 respectively, her hubby decides he can't handle being a father. Decides to flip out, and beats the everloving **** out of my sister. We go get her and move her and the kids home to Louisiana.

Fast forward two years later. My sister and her three children are all living in one 10'x10' room at my elderly parent's house. The children are all in school, and one of them has a chronic health problem, so my sister can't work. She had a part time job for a while but she was having to leave every other day for doctor's visits and whatnot. So she quit before things got ugly.

Her husband (now ex-husband) has been able to fly under the radar and has quit his job, and moved on to another one. Due to the circumstance of him being in another state, in two years, he hasn't sent one red cent to support his three children and social services can't find him.

Thankfully, my sister has been on some federal programs. My father is retired and due to health concerns for his age is unable to work. Without food stamps and medicaid my whole family would have nothing due to that bastard in Texas.

We as a family never had any reason to rely on federal assistance before this episode. Don't think that just because you pay your bills and have a job that something truly life-changing can't happen to you and flip your world upside down.

That's all I have to say about that.

Also for those arguing that people are abusing unemployment - you buy into your unemployment. There is only so much of it, usually just enough to keep you afloat for 6 months or so. You only hurt yourself if you abuse it.

As noted above, **** happens. Some people are very thankful to have a helping hand out of a shitty *** tough situation.

This doesn't count the 95% of the rest of the scum that cant keep their ******* legs closed long enough to get a job instead having kid after kid. I think with this respect we can thank Mr. Bush's administration for destroying sex education and removing most funding for contraception. Our overpopulation is where we need to start. And by start I mean of course sewing some vagina's shut.

Cut off a few dicks too. Plenty of sorry bastards sling dick with no regard for the consequesnces. Honestly, unemployment does not bother me one bit. It is a limited benefit. Now a ****** getting government funds to turbo his ******* miata...that's fucked up!

Absolutely your right. Life changing **** can happen to anyone. There are of course certain exceptions that make sense, like your sisters situation.

When I snapped my ligament at work last year and had to take 6 months off I got nothing. No money. (Family business = get fucked) However there's people out there fully capable of working that choose not to that collect weekly. Those are the piece of ***** I'm against.

Times are tough now for sure. But why make those that are hanging on to their jobs pay the price? There are jobs out there, but not ones that people want. We couldn't hire an american if we needed one. And I know lots of other guys that say the same. Every college bound kid now-a-days wants a cushy office job, or a cushy "business man" job. WTF is going to happen when we run out of young americans to fill the steel worker jobs, roofing, foundations, excavators, carpenters, etc.
