Default Anyone watching the Superbowl?

I normally wouldn't care, but our commander said that if Arizona wins, we don't have to come to PT tomorrow (which is at 5 AM everyday). So, I'm hoping they win. Doesn't look good right now (halftime) but one can dream.

I'm watching how its made on the Science Channel. I follow NCAA football, don't care much for Pro football. Plus I was in the garage until like 9pm so I missed half the game already.

Yeah, kinda. I'm mostly catching up on reading posts. Arizona got a safety. It's always better to have a close scoring game, but I mostly don't give a damn.

I had it on in the shop while I was working on my car. Updates to follow shortly. Commericals (which is really the only reason I watch) sucked this year, execpt for two of the Bud Clydesdales ones.

I pretty much agree with you about this year's commercials but; I liked the one from monster.com; I found it funny

I liked the one where they all blew up because the guy got sponsored by Pepsi and couldn't shut up about it.

Great end to the 1st half, excellent 4th quarter. I enjoyed the game, commercials not so much.

I agree that the commercials kinda sucked, but that monster.com (koala punching) one was pretty good. The Pepsi MacGruber one was mildly retarded. Maybe Pepsi got a break from NBC on the advertising rate for agreeing to simultaneously advertise for SNL? The fact that they had Richard Dean Anderson in there only served to remind everybody of how totally badass MacGuyver was and what a lame parody MacGruber is.

At least the refs weren't the Steeler's MVPs this time around. I can only wonder how it would have turned out if AZ had bothered throwing to Fitzgerald in the first half. After his TD I thought AZ had it won, since the Steelers offense hadn't done squat the previous couple possessions. Then they march 78 yards like they were playing against the practice squad. Great game though.
