I just went to the Formula D event in Wall NJ this past weekend. It was pretty good, but not as good as the event I went and saw in Irwindale.

I wasn't really into it though this last time around. I actually left at the mid-day break this last time. My friend liked it though, and I only really went because she wanted to. I was getting bored after the first couple runs.

Really? I had a good time at Wall... but I had a press pass so I was on the track while they were running. I've only been to Wall and e-town though, I'd love to go to Long Beach or Irwindale.

So you were at Wall this last event? Did you see the miata in the parking lot that had the Bomex front bumper? I took a quick peek at it, but it looked stock other than wheels, bumpers, paint, and a style bar.

I was also hung over, plus 3 hour car rides aren't my favorite, so that definitely contributed to my mood. I did like the one run when the guy smashed the **** out of the car on the first heat.

Wall is smaller, but I thought it was more fun to drive than Irwindale. Wish I had a well running car when I drove Wall.

FD has really lost it's "edge". The first couple events at Road A were some hardcore door-to-door battles with kick-*** cars....now it's 36 350Zs, a few S-chassis cars and those terrible tCs. The drivnig wasn't as 'on-edge' as it has been....and the people in the stands are getting dumber and dumber. But i'll enter for ***** and giggles...and if I win, i'll tell Foresberg to his face how ugly his car is

Don't think he doesn't know. It's like the old joke Texas ranchers like to say when you mention how bad cowshit smells, "smells like money to me".

Yea the 350's everywhere is getting old. And The TC's are terrible, I still can believe they have such a following.

The crowd was dumber than dumb. I felt like I was at a high school pep rally filled with toolbag kids and their parents.

Here's some shots I took from the Wall event.

Nah I didn't see that Miata, I had a press pass so I was trackside pretty much all day.

Are you talking about that STi? His car was wrecked I don't know why he kept trying to drive on a rim with no tire. The track marshall picked up a piece of his broken wheel and threw it behind the barrier where we were standing, but he wasn't paying attention and almost hit me in the head with it! Luckily I saw it coming and ducked haha.
