Looks like a nice night for sure, I'm not a huge Founder's fan but the last '09 Nemesis I had was quite delicious. Jealous of the Sexual Chocolate for sure. I may have to make a trip down to NC/SC while I'm home in December to check out some good beer bars.

Decided to try and wait out the snow/traffic last night at a pizza joint and gave something new a try. Russian River Damnation is wonderful and I can't wait to go back and have a few more. I highly recommend this to anyone that hasn't tried it.

Brian: Hit me up if/when you make your way down... I can suggest some spots and might be able to join you for some brews.

Jay: Hellz yes! I have a few bottles I got in some past trades. Quite tasty. I do however prefer their Wild Ales though (Supplication particularly).

Split: I hate you... Guessing that is the Vanilla version? I have one bottle on the way from a regular trading partner, but just one. :(

Yup, I had to visit a couple places to just get those. Everywhere has restrictions of 1 or 2 bottles per person. Stupid limited releases

Haha! I LIVE for limited releases... Went to Foothills Baltic Porter, Foothills Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate, and Olde Hickory/Duck-Rabbit/Foothills Olde Rabbit's Foot releases this year alone. Going to COAST Blackbeerd, COAST Barrel Aged Blackbeerd, and Foothills Sexual Chocolate for sure next year. Might even hit up Darkness and Dark Lord Day too... Sigh.

Damnation - Can't wait, I have two bottles in my "cellar" upstairs, just waiting for one of them to provoke me to drink it.

Bourbon County - Still on my wants list, I'll track some down eventually.

I may take you up on that offer, just depends on how my time works out while I'm at home, only one person even knows I'm coming home so that should make it a little easier to avoid being fully booked this trip home. Still trying to find somewhere good to do my New Year's celebrating, may make a road trip out of that one if nothing else.

Soooo, surgery at 8am tomorrow morning, so you should all know what that means. Took a trip to the "cellar" and came back with this:

Started off with the RR Temptation just a minute ago and seeing how much I can get down before my midnight food/drink cut-off. 4 hours 15 minutes to go.

If you are a fan of Wild Ales I say yes... Had Brute at the in-line tasting at the Olde Rabbit's Foot release a few weeks ago for the first time. Liked it so much a traded for a few bottles of it.

Nice. Ever had the Temptation? How does the Brute compare? This is my first time with either of them and I'm REALLY liking the Temptation so far.

Honestly I liked Temptation more, but Brute is a damn fine Wild. You won't be disappointed.

Good deal, I almost grabbed my Veritas 007 instead but decided I want to give that some time to mature before I crack it. I feel like I've asked before but can't remember your answer, are you a fan of Gueuze/Lambics at all? I'm guessing if you like Wild Ales you are.

3 Fonteinen Millenium Gueuze. When/if you can find it HERE, it goes for around 150 euro a bottle. I have a bottle sitting in a wine cooler in Virginia that I want to drink on New Year's Eve this year, I may be making a trip to SC for New Year's....see where this is going? haha

Yes, I am in fact an *******, but a generous ******* at times, I can't justify drinking that rare/sought after of a beer alone.
