Link is on the front page.
Amazing to think that for $1k and some minor wiring you can get that kind of gain from the OE setup.

look at the fuel before the Xede....that alone was probably the most substaintal gain.

Mileage must suck on a stock MS3 10:1?? Geez. What are they trying to do kill cats and plugs quickly?

Think that's a tactic for keeping the car "safe"?
That af curve is reminiscent of the Miata's with the afpr and turbo

The two stock MSMs I have dyno plots of both are into the 10:1 (or even lower as 10:1 is as low as the dynojet goes to) as soon asyou go WOT.

As for the MS6, I saw one on the dyno with the crazy ECU problem. After a pull or two, the heatsoak would cause the ECU to go into limp mode and the car would literally drop 100whp or so. It just fell on it's face obviously. Did Mazda take care of that? It ran pig rich too.

Don't MS6's , and MS3's? run with a top mounted coolers?
I wouldn't think that would work out so well on a Dyno?

Yes and it's integrated to be much harder to replace than the Subaru TMICs. It is very shallow too.

Most dynos have a highflow fan that straps to a TMIC to get flow through it. At least AWD dynos since they get a lot of Suby business.

Wow. Those plots aren't even close to one another. Xede over 300 ft-lbs at 3000 rpm, stock has less than 150? Something just doesn't look right.

stock ECU detunes lower gears for traction control and torque steer. might be related.
