You know, I'd actually prefer to be working on my house than be at work, which is where I'm going to be. But good luck with the house projects! Looks like you have plenty to do!

At work here too. 6:30am-7:00pm.

But that's cool. I'm getting overtime and free pizza.

At home I'm going to fire up the barbeque grill and watch "Indiana Jones and the lost Crusaders". I haven't seen it yet. Don't tell me if it sucks.. I'm trying to believe Hollywood would try not to destroy one of my all time favorite movies.

Most movies are inspired by old movies or simular life events. They should have named it something else and it would probably be fine. Now it has to live up to a extremely high standard.
When the first movie was made. Effects of the time sucked and it is still entertaining for today.

That and I always wanted to find something cool, treasure, or whatever growing up.

Mine has sucked. I have done nothing but play xbox. I should have epoxied the garage, installed a ceiling light in there, and fixed the light on my trailer.

And most of my friends are out of town. Hurray for me.

I got in 5 hours of yardwork and went grocery shopping. But at least I don't have to do those things on my weekend!

Though I'll still need to mow the back n junk tomorrow morning. :(

Hey Brain, look at the bright side - at least you're spending your time improving something that you'll get to use every day. I spent 6 or 7 weeks doing my kitchen over, and it came out great.

Now every day I look at it and remember how all that work completely sucked, and I don't think I would ever do it again, but maybe in another 5 years I'll appreciate it.

Something to look forward to. Happy 4th. I think I need a drink.

yeah for reals, we just bought a new one, since ours proceeded to almost ignite my wife's hair on fire.

nope no need, as you can see counter top was hacked to ****....

Almost done; need to cut the baseboards, one more filler strip on the top cabinet, hang the microwave, then wait for the granite to be measured for and cut on Tuesday.

I bought a pretty faucet....

nice......though its not the ideal way to spend a holiday, i must say ull feel great after all is done and you get to use a nice kitchen with granite counters......I have a similar job (tearing out the whole kitchen and putting in a new one) coming up for the house we are in the process of buying. GOOD LUCK

Looks like the same brushed Hunter fans I got for my place from HD. I put them in with Hampton Bay auto controls and ended up replacing the globes with frosted ones that match the rest of the house's lighting (all fixtures are brushed or satin nickle with marble forsted globes).

I didn't get the soap dispenser with the kitchen sink. I wanted it, and I wanted to get the filterered drinking water dispenser too, but it became one of those "pick your battle" type things as I wanted some other things more.
