I had a Saab Viggen I tracked. The digital mileage readout said 7 that day.

Just got back yesterday. Took the winter wheels and tires off and mounted up the 8" 6uls and 225 RS2's. Track wheels should be here next week. Gotta see what the upcoming track days are! Really want to get up to Pacific raceway in the Seattle area too. Horrible website they have though. I can't find a schedule on it.

This car is my daily driver. I'm not giving up any of the amenities! 365 day a year comfort is more important to me than another second or two at 1/2 a dozen track days. I'm 43 and driving a 14 year old little rattling can of a car. I need a little comfort!

Curly let me know when you'll be at the track next. I'm going to get out there ASAP! Gotta plan around work.

I think CSCC's next day is august 16th, they're the only club I track with right now just cause I can barely afford the time/money for any more than what they offer, but you can get on track with any number of clubs including bmw, lotus (they're picky though), SCCA (might have to turn your car into a race car though) and a few others I think, alfa club?

anyways I'll be there august 16th, although I haven't actually signed up yet. hopefully I'll get my godspeed radiator by then, its the only thing holding me back from constant all out 10psi sessions!

You know. Before I did this I had never been in an FI Miata. No lie. I found this website and it sounded like fun. Having nothing to compare this car to - holy crap. At 10 psi it put down 217hp in 106 degree weather on the dyno. Here closer to sea level and at 75-80 degrees who know's what it has. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are scary! Me like.

Nice to have some passing power in 5th too!

After I get the bird sized Texas bugs off it I'll take pics of everything and post it up in the vbgarage. I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like on the track now. Don't hit the wall, don't hit the wall, don't hit the wall....

NEMESIS!!!!!

I know there are a few guys around Oregon/ Washington. Should try to get together for a track day. The Porsche club has a day coming up on July 29th. Great group of guys, really enjoyed the day with them last year. Full track day, instructors available and they even provide some food and drinks for $135. I'm planning on going.

Damn, I'm busy with my friend's wedding right around the end of july, won't be able to commit to a track day. $135 is an awesome price, what do you have to do to get in?

I was so busy with that seminar I missed this thread. I need to find a picture of your car. If you left on the 27th, I seen it while I was there.

I saw so many miatas with intercoolers when I was in the PNW. It really turned up the wick on my motivation.

Thats better than my car, and I'm not even turbo!

That sounds like a hell of a trip, too bad you didn't make it through California to see some great roads, but on the other hand, with those tires it was probably a wiser choice to stick to the freeways.
