Do any of you guys board?
Im building a skateboard while on my downtime with some trucks, wheels, bushings, excedra..., I have a lovly habitat board that My wify bought me not too long ago(love it) lucky abec 7 bearings, venture trucks, and doh-oh bushings, I had a bad bearing in one wheel that went out and brought the board to a sudden stop lol just my luck I was'nt wearing knee pads(bye bye knee) oh well moving on.
Here's the set-up on my new board in progress: grind king trucks, doh oh bushings, and china reds wheel bearings.
has anyone used these, I've heard alot of good things

i was a poseur in 7th grade. but it was my mode of transportation. what's freaky is that 15 years later I was walking around near my work and ran across an old skate hangout I hadn't been to since then. It's this weird overpass with a parking lot underneath and at the end where the overpass meats the lot there's a weird smooth transition like a wave shape. we used to call it "the wave" naturally. Turns out a buddy of mine works in a building right next to it. Talk about crazy nostalgia.

I was a *****. I skated for 2 years and sucked the entire time. Got sick up busting up my shins and ankles trying to do different flips and whatnot. Decided wake boarding during the summer and snowboarding during the winter were better for me. It's nice when the board stays on your feet when you jump.

I stopped skating when I got my license and a job. I still go out occasionally but nothing much.
I had the bones reds a while back and they were pretty good. I had some lucky 7s on my next board and I couldn't really tell the difference. except, on flat smooth surfaces going slow, the luckys felt smoother.
my all-time favorite board would have to be the one I have now. I'm running 52mm Autobahns with lucky abec 5s. it's slammed too, which makes me laugh every time I see it. I'm on venture lows, but I had to change out the bushings because they were too soft for me, so I switched them with the bushings on some old thunders I have, which for some reason aren't as big, and altogether it sits about a centimeter and a half lower, and the kingpin rubs on the deck underneath the truck. I don't ever get name brand decks because they aren't worth shelling out 2x as much for the exact same product, and I like to support the shops by my house. most of the time I got my decks on a heavy discount because the owners knew me and I knew a couple kids sponsored by them. so I always roll with Utility or K5 decks.
goddamn, I remember when the first Utility went in by my house.... that building's a La Salsa now and they moved like 3 blocks away.
brings back memories..
