Walmart has something for 200 dont know what XBOX it is.

I refuse to shop on black friday, but I work every year, and its a complete cluster **** every year. I watched to ladies almost get in a fight over a set of tires. HAHAHA

And every year someone not paying attention or doing something stupid to get to Kohls/best buy or somewhere a few seconds faster damn near plows into me. I will not be driving the camaro this year. Ever since the broken neck Im so scared to get hit.

I think I want to trade my like 12 year old PS2 and my 4 games (Medal of honor front line, grand theft auto 3, Grand Turismo 3 and 4) on a PS3 so I can play MW3. I went in an out of walmart in 5 minutes just to browse. I saw $249 for a PS3 with 160GB. Tomorrow I might check out gamestop.

You can get a refurbished 360 for real cheap, plus you can trade in the PS2 and games towards the PS3/360 at gamestop.

I'm sure I want to go the PS3 route, but how much do you think they'll give me for a trade towards one with my PS2 and 4 games? Does a PS2 controller fit a PS3? Does a PS2 memory card fit a PS3?

Gamestop's having a 160gb PS3 for $199 deal tomorrow Third. If you want to get a PS3, that's what you want.

I wouldn't bet on more then $40 for all of it. I think PS2 controllers are the same as PS3 controllers but I haven't had either in years. They offered me something like a few dollars for a $50 racing wheel about 10 years ago, but it was a piece of junk, even new.

Awesome. I'm down with the super sale, but not too down with getting ripped off on a trade. Then again, my PS2 is probably as old as my car, and my car has given me way much joy and cost me way more money, so I can let go of it I guess. Or there's always Craigslist.
Stupid question, but do I need to buy all kinds of other **** with a PS3 with 160GB? It'll be WIFI ready? I'm a Noob to the trendy new game consoles. I only bought PS2 for GTA3, then grand tursimo 3 came out and I had to have it, then 4 came out and then I got bored after wasting hours and hours of my life playing it. Otherwise I just used the PS2 as a DVD player.

PS3's are pretty much good to go from the package I believe. They receive wifi, play dvd's, blue ray movies and do other slick ****.

I stood in line for 2hrs tonight in walmart for the xbox deal. The deal saved $100 over the next best sale. Im still not sure it was worth it. I hate walmart.

Yeah but the deals are mostly on the 4gb models. And the 250 gb model has a game I already have and one that I dont feel like playing.

Plus I hear refurbish units break like a mother.

NEWEGG

Polk Audio
Monitor 60: $99ea
Monitor 30: $99pr
CS1: $59
Free shipping.

This setup is currently the best deal going in home theater. They are essentially the old lineup (last years models) and Newegg has had them for cheap for months now... this is the best deal I've seen by about 20%. If you are in the market for a new suround setup, you cannot beat these for the price. You can throw in an additional set of the Monitor 30's and be all set for 7.0 surround.

My recommendation for a subwoofer of complementary price is the Bic F12 for $189 on Amazon:
Amazon Amazon

For $650, you can rock the house with a very nice 7.1 system. A lot of guys will actually buy 2 of those subs because theyre so cheap... try $740 for 7.2 that will **** off you neighbors 2 houses away.

I get the best of both worlds. Girlfriends going shopping with her sisters, and I get to tell her what to get while I stay home playing forza, watching netflix, and eating left overs.

So far, I'm getting a Dewalt 18v drill with two batteries, and HP photo printer. Still Fred Meyers to go.
