Bought another Miata
97 automatic with 65K miles on it. Found it on Ebay with bids up to $3500. Talked the guy into taking $3300 cash off Ebay. Has a few scratches/swirl but looks pretty good. Will swap the V8 drivetrain into it over the next couple of months (or however long it will take).

Old (you can see why I would want to swap):

Thanks. I had a guy trying to sell me a black one for $700 less with a rebuilt engine (I think ~125K on the clock) but I couldn't deal with the black paint. I've got pretty big plans for this car and I hope I don't screw it up too bad along the way. I definitely won't be cutting a hole in the hood on this one <G>.

Wouldn't a paint job have been cheaper and easier? Unless the current body has more issues.....

Yes, we currently have 3.5 Miatas, a Geo Metro, and a truck. It was nice having room in the driveway but that only lasted 30 days. There is a big difference between 5.5 cars and 4.5 cars. That extra car is ALWAYS in the way.

you need a driveway that goes to a small parking area and two car work garage behind your house and main garage. I fit my 3.5 miatas, a montero sport, and a malibu just fine along with the 6x12 enclosed trailer and the pair of jet skis. When every car/trailer is here, there's still room for 4 more cars at the front of the house and 3 more cars behind the house, without any of the extra cars being blocked in :P
