Bro In Law help me paint *derp* *coo story bro*
I tells him we must paint dining room, he agrees to help me out, big job and painting is kinda ghey.
I remove door.
I fix holes in wall. Putty, sand, do again, prime.
Home depot trip. Spend cash with Uncle Visa.
I prime everything, walls ceiling and trim, more than once. Previous owners were smokers. Should have washed walls and primed with some sort of stain coverup crap. *lesson learned* Nicotine was bleeding through primer like woah.
I paint ceiling and crown molding after it was primed 2x.
*by now, no bro in law around over course of week. I start complain to wife. Wife say wut you expect doh?
Begin painting final color.
bro in law shows up, paints 4 pieces of trim. cleans up says he helped. leaves. 45 minutes of his life invested.
i finish painting.
repaint trim he did as it was 1 coat and meh effort.
touch up spots today.
Complete.
Any of you enjoy home renos and have a hot sister i can marry?

If doing any kind of work involved sitting in front of a computer playing some kind of world of Warcraft looking game, my brother in law would be down to help. Since the real world requires real effort to get things accomplished, he is pretty much useless.

Some people are more helping when they are not around. Others are the kind you should avoid "helping". I agreed to help a buddy lift the mast of his sail boat. When I showed up, the conversation went like this:
Me: - So, where is the crane?
Dumbass: - What crane?
Me: - The crane we need to lift the mast up and out of your boat.
Dumbass: - I don't have a crane.
Me: - Of course you don't, but your boat club must have one.
Dumbass: - I'm not a member of a boat club.
Me: - Wait a minut... have you ever done this before?
Dumbass: - Nope! Kind of hoped you had.
Me: - I have. You are on your own. Best of luck.

Speaking of which I went to an all gay man bar with my girl last night. It was her request. Anyways, I must say, it was surreal. I've never been around such a large group of males with so little aggro energy in the room.
