Default Lime Creek Rd.(A MUST)

If you are ever around Austin, Texas you should take a drive out to Lime Creek Rd. I went and took a drive yester day with a friend and it is so fun, so curvy, no cops... Its was the most fun i have ever had driving a car. The road is like 90% Perfect. The views are almost worth it by them selfs. Im telling you if your ever in texas take a drive to Lime Creek Rd.

Limecreek road is oldchool. The DFW Outlaws used to go down for Austin runs a couple times a year. There's a guy named Jack who goes by the handle Eintier that can run that road faster than you can imagine. I rode with him once from the beginning to the lime rock field at the end, and it took the others in the run group a couple of minutes to catch up. If only that road was in my backyard.

Yea I love that road, but I have seen Travis Co. on the road before toward the Cedar Park side. Also, alot of traffic on the weekends, sometimes.

I've not been through there yet. I mainly go up 281 to Blanco and play around there. I've heard that Lime Creek was pretty challenging...a couple of the Tejas Miata folks have lost control around there. I don't know if they were the "wine and cheese" folks or decent drivers.

The only two things I was worried about were the people in their huge *** SUV coming into my lane. The other thing I kept looking for was gravel on the road because of all the rock driveways. I just went thro it once kind of quick and found the problem spots and came back the other way. I went on a Friday at about 4 pm an only saw 12 cars or so. Thos guys might have hit some gravel and spun.

Quite a few motorcycles and general enthuisiasts on texasracingscene.com has lost on there as well.

Spicewood Springs in between McNeil and 360 is alot of fun.

Lime Creek is one of the best in Texas, especially if you start from FM2222 by Mopac. Also, try 1826 too.
