The car used to be FWD and (rumored) to be something like 1000whp. Thus the huge front wing.
I haven't kept up with the RTA/time attack scene this year since most of the big teams have dropped away from RTA and are focused elsewhere, but when they were running they were fairly quick.

Holy **** @ 2:10 of the video. I do not want to be "that guy" in the scion when I go on the track.
I read an article about the 1000hp version of the scion in some magazine. It has a button on the steering wheel for 50psi of boost. Seems gay

Cool story bro time:
Back in '09 I did corner flagging for the Redline time attack when they came to Nashville Superspeedway. I think the Scion did about 7 laps the whole weekend. The car would do an out lap, an understeertastic lap at speed, and then drop into the pits again, not to be seen for hours. Friday they were doing a HPDE along with the time trials. World Racing sat around all day, i think they did maybe a warmup lap in the morning. Anyhow it was almost the end of the day, and they head out during the novice HPDE session. Ended up passing new drivers on the outside of the front straight at 160+. Stories like that and the Z06 video seem to be typical for that outfit.
