I'm sorry, but did anyone else just laugh all the way through that? It's like a headless mountain goat powered by kazoos.

yeah thats not real, honda can't even make sumthing that could be knocked around like that, much less have a sense of balance, why do you think robots have such big feet? if it were real and i came across that in the woods though, i'd be running the other way

Well, you'd hear it like four friggin' miles away!

"Who the hell is using a weed-whacker out in the woods?"

I'm STILL laughing at that! Had to watch the video like five times its THAT funny to me... after working 19 hours... wow.

If I saw that thing running through the woods I'd prolly **** myself. Funded by DARPA it likely has a sniper rifle attached to it already. Looks very comical when the guy kicked at it..

Oh, and just because Honda can't do something doesn't make it impossible..

+1

I dont know **** about this, but when it comes to robots im sure 4 leggs is MUCH easier to work with than two. Think about how hard it would be to just get a two legged robot not to fall over

The buzzer is required when the robot is operating autonomously for "safety"

i'm just saying if a company like honda with billions to spend can't create a robot that can be kicked around and still stand i doubt they can. And it just looks fake how the legs move so fast there is a bubble of blur around them

Honda isn't funded by the US Dept. of Defense...

And they are making a bi-pedal robot...not a pack mule.
