caused by overstressed sidewalls from... low tire pressure, driving with no pressure, or hitting a curb really ******* hard

in my case it was my feable attempt to limp to the nearest gas station to get some air in it while at 0 psi

good thing i have a pile of freebie steelie/tires in the back yard to pick from

On a more serious note:

Has anyone noticed more tire wear on one side of the car than the other? I have been waiting for my tires to get closer to the wear bars, and the passenger side is getting there faster.

I have been rotating front to back to keep it relatively even over the life of the tires and just noticed the left side/right side thing recently. The tire wear is normal on all the tires, just faster on the right.

i deffinetly get that. i think its mainly due to how the roads are setup making your left turns faster than your right turns. i think the best way to swap your tires is in the x pattern if you dont drive like a maniac

I get really even wear my a fairly aggressive setup.

Front:
Caster: 4°
Camber: -1.5°
Toe out 1/16"

Rear:
Camber: -2°
Toe in 1/16"

Do you have any pictures of your cars *** with -2*? You sig doesnt look like it has any camber at all.

I have -2.75 in the rear and -2.25 in the front. It isn't really obvious, especially with mud flaps. You can really tell if you look straight down on the fender though.

Toe is the eater of tires. I'd suspect this since the tire ware is more extreme on one side of the car.

i run "lanny's alignment" and have normal tire wear.

^ which goes back to how you drive. if you drive like a grandma anything over -.5* will show up. but if you run that same -.5 in an auto x or hard street driving your outside should will still get eaten alive
