^lol... Serious? I guess it's a clean title... Then again, decent deal... 170k miles is a lot though. I've driven by it a few times... Maybe I should actually take a closer look...

Price lowered, again! This Miata has a brand new engine and turbo system, that aren't even fully broken in yet. There are only 3,000 miles on the new motor. Just replaced all of the rubber bushings with poly bushings and the rear disks and brakes are brand new. She looks pretty darn good for her age, but, as with any 20 year old car, the paint could use some freshening. The engine is fully built, with forged pistons, race rods and bearings, ARP studs, etc, and is bored and honed 20 over. She also has all of the necessary ancillary go fast parts like a Deatchworks 1000cc fuel pump and Boundary engineering forged oil pump gears. She has a good-sized Garrett GT2871r turbo system with a full 3" exhaust and straight cat. Flyin' Miata V=Maxx coil overs. Boss Frog Frog arms, Frame rails, Jackson Racing sway bar, shock tower bar, and seatbelt tower braces. Flyin' Miata Stage 2 clutch. 6 speed transmission to handle all that extra torque and a Torsen LSD rear end. ~376 bhp and 321 rwhp at 15 psi, currently 300 rwhp at 13.8 psi. MegaSquirt PnP engine management. This ride is fast and complete.
Rides given to serious buyers. Test drive with $7500 deposit. Not interested in trades unless its for a similar value '99 or later Land Cruiser with lockers.

I like that someone must have been so upset when they decided to post that BEGI car. 4 pictures to sell a project car. It is either buried in the shop or not very photogenic. My guess is both.
Why the VQ? If that thing had an LS it would be worth so much more, and be done. Maybe it is a bit like "my friend gave me this turbo and said it was off something good"...

Looks like most of the bolt on turbo kits get the VQ35 up to ~400hp on stock internals. A L92 out of a Yukon Denali or an Escalade starts at 403hp. The VQ35 shaves 100# off of the GM aluminum block LS, but then you need to add around 100# of exhaust, turbo, intercooler, etc. to make the same power, so no weight savings. VQ35's go for $1200-$2500 on ebay. L92's start ~ $3000.
The V6 is about as inherently unbalanced as our I4. The V8 would run smoother. I don't see any real benefit here. They might as well have started an SR20 or a 2JZ-GT swap.
