This ad made me giggle. Nothing too far out there but fun anyway.
Classic Miata with Massive Patina Overload (MPO)
Classic Miata with Massive Patina Overload (MPO)
Venerable 1990 (June 1989) Miata.
White (mostly) with A Package & AC options and 190K miles.
Daily driver in same PDX family for 25 years, commuted and parked out in the weather.
Still pulls hard, holeshots 'burb buggies and hoons around corners with great abandon.
Wonderful ratty burble emanates from the turbo muffler.
Everything works except the AC and stereo (though the clock still keeps time.)
The rear window is out of the Robbins replacement top. Have plastic part to replace.
Engine seeps a bit of oil as expected.
Interior worn but no tears or broken plastic bits
Driver's seat and accelerator modded for comfort of taller drivers.
New starter from ABE just 2 weeks ago.
New brake master a month ago.
New AGM battery about a year ago.
Spare mounted underneath.
Registered through 5/15.
Son bought a new car and wife wants it banished from the driveway lest it drive down market value.
Says either this fine family legacy or my classic motorbike has to go and the bike predates her so. . .
More valuable parted out than as a driver but can't stomach killing it off myself.
Original paint flat and flaking off but all the metal is amazingly straight for a classic 25 year old driver.
