Not quite CraigsList, but close...

I'm car-shopping at the moment. Came across this '99 on AutoTrader, which boasted of having "custom wheels" in the description:

I agree with that, but it won't really do much if your head hits it during a crash will it? That's a serious question. I was under the impression that this was a no-no and that dual durometer padding was the safe way to go.

And you are correct, presupposing that the person doing the installing is even aware of the existence of such things.

Personally, I don't see the point of running a rollbar on the street, at least not at my height. If I do manage to roll a Miata, the only thing that bar is gonna do is limit the quantity of brain matter which escapes from my head to a level just sufficient to keep me alive but a drooling vegetable.

That's just what I was thinking. He's expressed flexibility on the price, so you could probably get it down to a typical beater price for a rough hardtop. Unless the smog was done within 90 days it will have to be redone with transfer of registration after a sale (in Cali). Assuming title is clean, it still seems like a possible bargain unless it's just destroyed.

Looking to sell my Miata. This car is one of a kind in that it is a replica of the BMW z3, you get the European feel and the Miata structure. It needs some slight repairs such as the soft top and the deferential. It does have leather seats which are in amazing condition.

Unique 1993 Mazda Miata - BMW z3 REPLICA

someone please buy this...

1. Step one, buy a Miata. ($2000)
2. Step two, buy a BMW Z3 body kit ($1000)
3. Step three, install kit, BMW OEM parts, and paint. ($?)
4. Get laughed off of the road
5. ????
6. Profit? ($3300-$2000-$1000-$?=$300)

It's so one of a kind that you totally can't find ten more just like it with a Google Image search for "Miata Z3."

990 Mazda Miata, SALVAGE TITLE. The car has been very reliable to be for over 3 1/2 years selling it because I need something bigger with more space. Their is nothing wrong with the car mechanically its my daily driver to work so the mileage will keep adding on. AC works just installed new compressor in January. I will be paying the tags this week so the car will be tagged until September 2015. Their is no check engine light on or any other light. Car has custom headlights made by previous owner. The only thing that I know could need some help would be the convertible top. I am asking $2200 willing to take offers, If your going to give me a low ball offer don't even waste my time and yours. You can text me at

Custom Made Radio Flyer Wagon - $10100 (Lake Elsinore)

My Name is Roger and you are looking at a full-size "Radio Flyer Wagon".

I started this project last summer and I am almost finished, ungratefully I am moving out of state and cannot take it with me. Everything needed to make it street legal is included, but I am moving before I can finish the wagon.

The base is a Toyota truck. It is fully drivable and can carry up to 12 people as you can see in the photo. With the handle on (which is removable) it is almost 10 feet tall. The wagon is 13 feet long and over 5 feet wide.

Body is 13 feet long by 20 inches high by 5 feet wide.
1990 Toyota Pick-up V-6 automatic transmission and frame used.
14 gauge steel wagon box. Steel radius corners flange top. 18 guage cold rolled steel skirt.
New shock transmission rebuilt.
Tune-up ready for Smog.
New: Muffler, Battery, Fuel Tank, LED Rear Lights, 1 piece Drive Shaft
Custom stainless steel license plate lights.
Modified 6-foot rear section of frame with new straight tube frame.
Two 4-point camlock racing seat belt harnesses in matching red.
Lexan windshield to be installed to finalize project.
Dashboard to be fabricated with multimedia entertainment system: DVD, TV, FM/AM Radio w/Rear View Camera. (Entertainment system included with wagon, chrome just needs to be cut to fit entertainment system in the passenger side dash.)

The lettering on the side and back are decals that can be removed and replaced with your own name and logo. This is not only a unique vehicle but would be an asset for building brand identity, parties or something that would truly be distinctive for your business. Please do not text. Call.

*Please note that we no longer have the original packaging & if anyone asks how fast this baby will go...tell them "as fast as you can pull it!"

Funny that he specifically mentions that the tan top looks great with the orange. I think it look absolutely horrible with the orange and every shred of tan in that car needs to be exorcised with the utmost haste. I like tan with blue, red, green... but orange?

Nice car overall though, if you must have orange.
