I'm selling it.

In fact pretty much everything in my garage is for sale right now.

Wife and I had a good talk about priorities and our current financial situation. I've been doing very well in school this semester after a couple of bad ones...mostly due to not working for the first time in my adult life...but it appears the savings from my work this summer are going to fall short of covering the part of our budget her paycheck can't.

Volvo is of course first up on the chopping block.

That's a good looking car, D. We don't see many 240s up here any more, I think the rust got the best of 'em. It's a shame, they seem like good solid cars.

My first car was an '81 242 GL 5-spd. I ran it out of coolant and blew the head-gasket and my dad sold it for parts. I kick my own *** a couple times a year over that.

One day I will own a 245 GT... Volvo wagons are sexy and I don't give a **** what you think.

I feel like **** for letting this car go.

Just traded it for a dirtbike...which is for sale:

Was gonna hand this car down to my little bro, which is what I should have done. Was a decent car.

I had to let my Volvo go also. Maybe later I can have my LS powered 240 tow rig!
