It's not like a base STi is a Kia Rio. So you have to keep that in mind.

Leafy - I'm guessing becuase the cars "almost don't age" or something
I don't know. It's just weird to me how drastically subaru went up in retaining value.

z31 - but if you're spending 36 grand, another 4 to get all the fancy options isn't a big deal.
I'm kinda thinking this now, with the new mustang: base model is like 34, fully loaded is like 40. Base model the interior is significantly inferior, doesn't have the navi or the sound, or the AC through the seats, or the leahter, and doesn't have lot's of other goodies like performance pack, nice wheels, etc. So the 5-6 grand isn't such a big deal when you're already shelling out 30+, and most don't really want to "settle" when spending that much money.

By the way, I'm parting out my setup and selling my car. Anyone want literally the best parts on the market, holla atcho boyee

Do any of you guys run catless and is it worth it? I did a quick search on subaru forums and everyone says "dont do it its not worth it" but I take everything from subaru forums with a grain of salt.

Was thinking of going catless. I can smog my own car so I'm not at all concerned about that, and it won't be loud enough that I'll get hassled for it most likely

Also I'd like to add that the Subaru navi option is ******* trash and I would not recommend it to anyone. Notoriously laggy.

From the little I've heard about subaru forums, combined with that last statement, I would say they are all ******* retards.

Are there any issues with doing this on the EJ25s, like boost creep or something similar? Or even a good DP recommendation?

If you're talking about the uppipe cat STI's dont have them.

i wanted to at least do the DP. Vlad kept saying that alone would solve all my lag/threshold complaints.

True, but my point was you don't HAVE to buy all the fancy options.

The PP on the Mustang is a bit different since spring rates, damping, sways, brakes, cooling, are all upgraded. Not leather/sound/etc like on the Premium or the difference between the Base and limited STi.

No doubt, when I bought mine I just didn't care about any of that stuff. Guess that was from years of driving old/econo based cars. Although I did get all the options on the Frontier, that was supposed to be the tow/road trip vehicle.

I just liked pressing the loud pedal.

Its weird. You would think when the supply is high like that those cars would be cheap. When up here, where hardly aged cars are like this super rare occurance that there might not even be one in the shape for sale at all at any given time that they'd be worth more.

Didn't make it by today, I'll try this week for science.

Last night was a long night plus today, just didn't have the energy for it.

Chain control this weekend in south Tahoe means less people on the slopes!

I just watched someone fill a 2011 STI with CA 87 and then haul *** down I-5. Something tells me she's going to have a bad evening.
