can't just "turn up" the fuel pressure. i don't run an AFPR. I'd rather just run bigger injectors than clutter up the engine bay with bandaids. It is the stock clutch too, put in in in June. I use a slightly higher force pressure plate, MazdaSpeed SS. It's only like 30% higher clamping force. I guess the car's weight is helping the clutch hold on the street. Until I drop in an XD I can't use the Launch Control or Flat Shift options on the MS.

tis true. i was so excited about 269 on my first pull i forgot to datalog the 2nd, i busied myself loading the stock timing map from DIY. then i saw how much worse it was so i spent time between the 2 and 3 pull reloading my custom timing map and turning EGO off.

my msq if you still want it without my datalog here http://www.miatamx5.com/ms_files/dyn...vetiming-2.msq

Tim is getting better with age as shown here:

as far as the dip in HP and TQ between 4000 & 4500 rpm should I look at the timing map as the reason? Alll the more reason to get it on a loading dyno and tune cell by cell. I was able to make nice gains though over the DIY base timing map in TQ and HP and it was much smoother. So as not to inundate you all with pics here is a link to all 3 of my pulls, 2nd pull is the DIY PNP base timing map.
