Every ******* I've ever met with a ******* lotus or some **** that arrived on a trailer volunteers information no one requested, spouts off their ------ry lap time bullshit ranking, or provides a list of arbitrarily derrived deficiencies? What specifically causes these people to start talking? No one asked..we don't care. No, seriously, I don't care about you're convoluted conversation about lap-times in racecars and streetcars...I care that you're a ------ and running your mouth and I'm about to tea-bag your dignity.

Your compression is too low and your turbine is too big.

I know...hopefully upping compression and shrinking the turbine will stop the 4th gear tire rolling.

11:1 pop ups + IRTBs + .29 A/R turbine and you'll be fixed. Till then your **** is fucked up and you need to change it.

Might be easier to get something better than 195 all seasons.

But seriously, do you know what is awesome? Destroying a $100k car in your $10k miata. BTDT

I'm running to dallas to get the rs2's for the auto-x this weekend.

Yeah, I can't ******* wait to chase down a real car with some "racing pedigree." I'm tired of picking on poorly executed people movers.

taking down S2Ks for some reason seems to be among my favorite things to do. the occasional lotus that will step up (most don't), various stupidroos, somtimes a panos (they make them a few miles from my house) all get shut down. c5 vettes aren't much of an issue. c6 vettes are really fast.

+1. I love me some S2k, but for some reason their owners (the ones I've run across anyway) tend to think the S2000 is god's gift to sportscardom and that there's no way anything is faster. Once, in my friend's Integra (which admittedly looked quite ricey at the time, circa 2002, but made 255bhp n/a) an S2000 owner we chatted up in traffic said "I don't even waste gas on Civics and Integras anymore..." We had a good laugh, which apparently angered him. He tried to speed off, but quickly found out what 10k RPM sounds like..

Nothing makes up for track time. I have taken our $500 lemons integra out to the track on street tires and put the smack down on some very nice cars. It's a shame...for them that is.

We had one of these in a new Z06 (not dishing the Z06) at Summit Point in Septebmer in our Advanced run group. First lap, first session he's off 20 yards into the trees, totalling the car and stopping the track day for about an hour as he was hauled off to the hospital. Fortunately he was OK.

I trailer in as the track car isn't street legal!

I've had this happen twice... one in an Elise, the other an Exige.

The last autocross of the season back in VA there was guy with a white Exige. I loved the factory paint. It looked like it was laid on extra thick, kind like you could walk up and squish it with your finger. I was talking with the owner when some douche walks up and stands right next to me. He listens for about 30 seconds and then just opens up... about how he used to have a white one, but when he sold it when the "S" came out and the dealer only had a silver one... and there's only one company that makes an aftermarket supercharger and he got the first production kit blah blah blah. He asked me what I owned... I pointed to my '93... you could actually see him turn his nose up, huff, spin around on one heel and walk away... like I'd forced him to waste his time talking to me.

The spirit of pride causes persons to go into tard dick mode. Here is what pride is & things that fall under pride.

Pride : In itself it is the inordinate desire for honor, recognition, distinction. Pride rises from self love.

vainglory : excessive or ostentatious pride esp in one’s achievements.

boasting :to express pride in oneself or ones accomplishments. brag, vaunt, crow

snobbery : one who blatantly imitates, flawningly admires, or vulgarly seeks association with those regarded as social superiors. One who tends to rebuff, avoid, or ignore those regarded as inferior. One who has an offensive air of superiority in matters of knowledge or taste

ambition : an ardent desire for rank, fame, or power.
ambition, aspiration, pretension mean a strong desire for advancement.
Pretension suggests ardent desire for recognition of accomplishment often without actual possession of necessary ability and therefore may imply presumption.

exclusiveness : excluding or having the power to exclude : limiting or limited to possession, control, or use by a single individual or group : excluding others from participation : snobbishly aloof : accepting or soliciting only a socially restricted patronage.

haughtiness : blatantly and disdainfully proud.

exaggeration : to enlarge beyond bounds or the truth.

You get the same turds in any arena. Computers, stereo's, motorcycles, ski's, boats, golf clubs, pool cues, etc. I bet you get the same crap on a construction crew talking about hammers. There is a certain percentage of the population that acts like this over anything. Some just have enough money or interest to take their douchebaggery into the track car arena.

Cork soakers.

I love it when fagmos start spouting unwarranted info or nay saying any pre op exercise when in the paddocks. Those are the ones I steer clear of when they are dusting their interiors full of rocks, mud, and grass.
All BS stops at the track.....
I've been to too many Porsche events to let Douchebaggery get on my nerves anymore.
Its even better when in Driver meetings the next morning....you are made an example of by a warning to let the little black Miata by....there is a reason he's filling up your mirrors.
But as Ringo says - "There's one in every crowd"

This is exactly why we're building the super uncool 510/260Z: No one at a PCA or BMW-CCA event expects one to be as quick as, say, a GT3.

I have never had a problem at the tracks. When my father raced, and then me every one was always helpful and courteous. Especially in the formula vee pits. There was one guy in the FV pits that was pretty secretive because he was running a cheater motor. But he opened up when he found out just about every one was running a cheater motor of some sort in FV.

That's just funny right there.
