What is it with lazy *** people using keyboards?
There's one thing I just don't get.
Why the **** do people shorten the words when they're writing with a keyboard?
Are they to ******* lazy to move ONE god damn finger to press all the buttons?
I had no problem with it back in the day, when SMS messages cost a fortune and needed to be cut down to 160 letters, in addition to being written on a phone with only number buttons.
But when people start using that **** on IM services, forums and other places where you write using a KEYBOARD it pisses me off.
If I'm forced to read and respond to people writing things like "bst rgrds" or **** like that, I expect them to pay me the current SMS fee each time they cross over 160 symbols.
What the **** is it with people now? How are our children ever going to learn to write properly when the standard is set to ******* SMS language on all channels?
I'm hating the internet more and more for each day.
(And if you feel I'm flaming YOU for writing like a lazy *** bitch, then **** you, and start writing properly.)

Ever use one of those mechanical keyboards? Basically 70's keyboard with modern layout and USB cord. It's like typing on a cloud. Expensive though, like $50 a pop. My friend has a completely blank one. There's apparently a whole forum for keyboard enthusiasts.

Hehe, this is not related to the current events in Norway.
It's been bugging me for years, and I had some spare time at work, so I just had to get it out.
What triggered me was a post with some wicked examples of what the thread is about.
And yeah, TorqueZombie, putting it in everyday speech is pretty much stepping over the line too. There really should be laws against this.

As for the events in Norway, they haven't affected me directly or indirectly in other ways then occupying every single spot in every media channel, both written, TV and radio.
Hence, I can't read the news since I'm fed up with reading about a mass murderer, so I need to spend my spare time at work doing other things..

I have the farsi script enabled on my computer... but also on my phone.. well kinda. I don't have all the letters I need (and a few extras I don't need) since it's not a true Farsi script on the phone.

Some people are lazy. A LOT of people are illiterate. Some people do it for lols. Myself, I find purposeful word abbreviation, bad grammar, and a lack of punctuation can add a mirthful, lighthearted and silly tone to written communication.

Hold down the kaf and you'll get a gaf, hold down the alif and you'll get the hamza options, etc. Alif maksura (Farsi's yaa, if I'm not mistaken) is hidden behind the Arabic yaa.
This is for the Arabic keyboard but I assume most of it carries over since dialects of Arabic (Iraqi especially) use most of the Farsi letters.
