Bullshit, or he would have at least one championship. He can continue to blame everyone else if he wants to, or say he's just unlucky, but in my view the guy breaks cars. Not to mention that he is unable to communicate well with the engineers, which Schui was amazing at, and Hamilton being a company man excels at.

stephanie, as good as massa is in brazil, being his home race and that fact that he won there last year, I don't think ferrari would let him win, cause kimi's the one with the championship hopes. even though they're not supposed to give team orders, no on seems to listen.

I predict,
Hamilton and Alonso will take each other out battling for position, a la Senna vs Prost, Kimi will past them both, flip them the bird, and win it. I bet a six-pack of Fat Tire, anyone down???

Hamilton is the next F1 franchise... just watch, he has the poise of a young m. schumacher (if not better) and he has the skill to be a multi-time world champion. Now barring his win, I want to see Kimi get it, I just like the way the ice man parties!

Hamilton, mathematically, stands the best chance of winning the title as all he needs to do is win the race or come second and his two rivals can't take the title away from him.
But if he finishes third or lower, the others can still win the title.
P-F1 takes a look at title permutations:
* If Hamilton wins or finishes second he is the World Champion
* If Hamilton finishes ahead of Alonso and Raikkonen, no matter the position, he wins the title
* If Raikkonen doesn't finish in the top two he can't win the title
* If Alonso wins, Hamilton has to finish second to win the title
* But if Alonso wins the race and Hamilton is third, the Spaniard retains the crown as even though they would both have 113 points, Alonso would have more wins the Hamilton
* If Hamilton finishes fourth, Alonso must win the race to win the title
* If Hamilton finishes fifth, Alonso also needs to win the race
* But if Hamilton finishes fifth and Alonso finishes second, Hamilton would win the title as even though they would be tied on points they would also be equal on P1s, P2s, P3s, P4s and therefore the title would go down to the most number of fifth placed finishes. And Hamilton's P5 in Brazil would be the one that won him the title
* If Hamilton finishes in the top five, Raikkonen cannot win the title
* If Hamilton finishes sixth, Alonso needs a P2 or better to win
* If Hamilton finishes seventh and Alonso finishes third, Hamilton would win based on a superior number of second placed finishes

I read a thing by Eddie Jordan this AM - he said that if there was sufficient evidence to DQ anybody they would have had it yesterday, and that F1 doesn't have sufficient thermal monitoring equipment for there to be proof, anyway.
Doesn't mean McLaren can't have a hissy fit, but they're pretty much done.

After he ran off, he came back on around 10th place or so, but then developed gearbox problems that may or may not be related to off-roading. Apparently he had to run the rest of the race with the tranny in "safe" mode, which affected shift speed and shortened up the rev limit a bit, which cost him something like .2 sec per lap.

new update on cocky Brit's "tranny problem":
