Theres a difference between making a car fast and not caring how it looks (most of the real race cars Ive ever seen), and making it look shitty on purpose and backing it up with it being sorta fast.

We're not all mad about it like OP thinks, we're indifferent. But when he brought this thread here, with the specific intention of arguing with people and getting reactions, he's getting them.
Doesn't mean any of us, having seen that car on the street IRL, would give a single crap about it or have any emotion towards it whatsoever. It'd be another POS beater we'd either ignore, or at best laugh at.

I only argue it because i like to, not because i feel it needs to be argued. I once told my cousin to get a miata for his first car and he didn't want to because he wanted to get a 240sx (we argued it). Later he changed his mind and said he is thinking about getting a miata only this time i argued against it. Arguing brings out different sides of things which i like to read.

Indifference is clearly not the case here. If you really were indifferent you would have never even given 2 ***** to comment, better yet, make an opinionated comment.

The kid is a hipster, with welding skills (I assume he needed to make a subframe). IMO, he's more interested about hipster points than the car.
I know this was referenced a few pages back; But LOL at someone who's "a good driver cause he drives the canyons". Autox is a better mark of driver skill then being a d-bag and not killing yourself in the "canyons".

Car is a good build for a 19 year old but I don't like the "go out of your way to make it shitty" mods. I don't really care but I don't get stuff like that... especially from an engineer. Engineers generally like to do things the right way.

AutoX isn't very big in SoCal so there aren't many events for the public.
The back roads are free and 1 minute away. (im not saying it is the right thing to do)
No welding. Stock subframe with custom engine mounts. Im not sure were hipsters fall but he is a Troll at heart.
