Just make your own pansies. Mine isnt as detailed, but it only took me maybe 50-75 layers to make an Alabama tag for my cars. I don't see the need to make it 400+ layer detailed when its going to be so small most of the detail will be lost. Can't see it very well in this picture, but its there. I'd maybe be willing to do some vinyl favors if anyone has simple requests like tags and logos.

Absolutely. I wasn't sure at first if it would be worth it going from Forza 2 either, but my god the graphics really are worlds better if you have the eye for detail. Forza 2 already looks so good, its hard to see the 4x the polygon count in the models. Gameplay is much more fun and there is so much more stuff to do. Most of my time is spent doing stuff other than racing, like modifying cars and designing vinyls and race cars. Tuning is a about the same, but it was already as in depth as it needed to be in 2. I'm really enjoying it so far. For me it was completely worth it.

And more to do online. I find myself looking at other peoples designs and vinyl sets for hours. I've purchased a few that caught my eye. Some of them are just insane. I can design some good stuff with a computer and photoshop or illustrator, but to do it in game and have it look like a photograph or a real anime character is crazy. I don't have that much patience with anything. Can also find some really good deals in the auction house. I used to only sell stuff, but now I'm starting to look for good deals. Money is a bit harder to come by in 3 than it was in 2. My car collection isn't growing vastly very fast.

I really need to get another headset. Not being able to talk is At least have text chat or something in the lobby. What was the deal with only A class races last night? I have cars built for every class BUT A class. I had to use my bone stock and untuned 997 GT2 all night. Also Had a good time racing though. That was the first time I have raced more than 2 races online before the server vanished or I got bored of racing against people who only try to wreck you. Pretty clean racing. Flier129 was kicking *** most of the time. Next time it wont be so easy, I have tuned a few A class cars now.

I was surprised with it. I saw A class and went to my garage and only saw that GT2 and some other low A class car that was also one I had won. It did so well I just stuck with it. Pulled off plenty of 2nd places, but don't think I came in 1st all night. Those R8's kept walking my *** in the straights but I would come back up in the corners. I just needed about 10 more hp and I would have been good to go. My only 2 Miatas are one built like mine, which is I think a D class, and the other is an NC built to S class. I guess I need to start building some more cars for each class. I've been focusing on S class too much. I have about 10 competitive built S class cars.

I liked your PLEASE DON'T HIT ME tag on the back of your car

I did some S-class racing and it was filled with asshats. Got with a random guy that raced cleaned in a-class and another random guy that ended up racing clean, rest of them would purposely wreck me lol.

My a-class miata is a decent hot lap car but good god if I get touched I'm off to the moon. The R8 and GT are cakewalk for a-class though, haven't even made the S5 leaderboard car yet! I like tuning the underdog cars and running them in public rooms. I've also been getting kicked from rooms cause Im a champion :( its so unfair lol.

We should definately setup a c-class tournament, throw some credits in somehow, winner takes all! Doesn't have to be c-class, I'd do whatever, still be interesting.

I tend to stay away from the mass online racing because I'm afraid I'll clobber someone and start and multi-car pileup.

I might have a little something for you guys now. Have spent ALL night building decent A class cars. The best one I have built so far runs about 1-1.5 seconds per lap faster on Mugello than the GT2 I ran all last night. I bet I have bought and sold $800,000 worth of cars tonight. Buy one, tune it, don't like it, then sell it for 40% what its worth, then make some more money racing and buy and build another car. Out of the 20 or so I bought, I only kept 4 as A class cars. I also build cars not only for their lap time, but for being easy to drive. If its fast buy a hand full, I won't even mess with it. I'd rather run a second slower per lap than other people if I don't run off the track every lap, or have to fight it all time. I can just cruise.

Like a lot of people do. Nothing pisses me off more than a messy start with people ramming each other. Right from the start I get turned around and end up in last place only 100ft from the line. Its always me that ends up facing the wrong way. Everyone else somehow keeps on going. Thats one of the reasons I like AWD cars so much for online. I can get a good launch and get ahead of the mess. But then that turns against me and I get rammed in the first turn...

lol naw, although that'd be interesting. It'd be a FFA, could do winner takes all or have a prize for 1st 2nd and 3rd or something. If we had more than 8 ppl we'd have to do heats and then a final runoff or something.
